Who doesn't want to look good?
We all strive for a certain ideal of beauty. However, our body, appearance and health are largely determined by our origins. Not much can be changed about that. But if 80% is genetic, then the other 20% can be influenced.
Sufficient exercise, little stress, clean air and - above all - healthy eating are the factors that you can influence. Scientific research shows that the only healthy food that consistently produces results is the "Mediterranean Diet." That means little meat, fish occasionally, lots of vegetables and extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) daily. Around the Mediterranean, people use an average of 1 liter of EVOO per person per month.
This extra virgin olive oil contains many monounsaturated fatty acids. These help keep cholesterol levels in balance, making cardiovascular disease less likely.
But by far the most important contribution of EVOO to health, beauty and the reduction of aging comes from substances that the olive trees impart to the oil. We call these substances polyphenols. These help keep the skin soft and the hair shiny. They contribute to the removal of free radicals. AND they help with anti-aging.
Aging is a process in which the quality of the DNA strings in our cells deteriorates. This process starts after puberty and becomes more intense as one gets older. Every human cell contains two strings, each with 23 chromosomes. At the ends, the strings are protected by telomeres. These will fray. We call that aging. The molecules in EVOO reduce unraveling, making aging slower.
EH1200 in particular contains many polyphenols that help you maintain your beauty. The daily use of 20-30 ml of EH1200 olive oil therefore contributes to good health and fewer signs of aging.
